TL;DR
AWS Cloud Architect (Migration & Modernization) (AWS/Terraform): Designing secure, scalable AWS environments and leading enterprise VMware-to-AWS transformations with an accent on cloud architecture, networking, and infrastructure automation. Focus on building multi-account landing zones, solving complex migration and security challenges, and guiding business-critical workloads toward modern cloud-native operations.
Location: Remote from Germany; service region includes Germany, France, and Switzerland.

What you will do
- Design secure, scalable, and resilient AWS architectures for enterprise environments.
- Lead planning and execution of VMware-to-AWS migration and infrastructure modernization initiatives.
- Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
- Design AWS networking across VPCs, Transit Gateway, VPN connectivity, and multi-account environments.
- Define migration strategies for business-critical applications and infrastructure.
- Provide technical leadership while collaborating with infrastructure, networking, security, application, and customer teams.
Requirements
- Several years of experience designing and delivering AWS cloud solutions in enterprise environments.
- Experience with VMware-to-AWS migrations or large-scale infrastructure modernization.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform or comparable Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
- Strong knowledge of AWS networking, compute, storage, identity, and security services.
- Experience with multi-account AWS environments using Landing Zone, Control Tower, or similar approaches.
- Professional German proficiency at minimum C1 level is required.
Nice to have
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification at Associate or Professional level.
