hirify.global develops commercially scalable and safe hirify.global robots, including the HMND-01 Alpha platform currently operating in industrial pilots.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and validate embedded software for hirify.global robots operating in real-world environments.
• Integrate sensors, actuators, computing platforms, and safety systems into fault-tolerant robotic architectures.
• Lead interdisciplinary projects spanning robotic perception, computing subsystems, and software integration.
• Test and validate new systems against safety, reliability, and performance requirements.
• Build development tools, infrastructure, and operational practices for a small, agile R&D team.
• Collaborate with electrical, software, controls, and physical AI engineers to ensure seamless hardware–software operation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience developing and deploying production embedded software on Linux using C++, C, Rust, Python, or Go.
• Experience developing time-sensitive and performance-critical applications.
• Strong understanding of Ethernet, IP networking, HTTP, or gRPC.
• Experience with Yocto or Buildroot, Linux kernel builds, and device-driver development.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional technical projects, defining requirements, and coordinating collaboration.
• Strong technical communication skills and experience working in small, interdisciplinary teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with Nvidia Jetson platforms.
• Experience processing data from cameras, lidars, radars, and IMUs.
