What you will do

• Integrate internal and third-party software onto autonomous maritime platforms and prototype vessels.
• Configure, deploy, and validate software across Linux-based systems.
• Plan and execute comprehensive system integration and end-to-end testing activities.
• Diagnose software and system-level issues during real-world sea trials.
• Develop scripts and tooling to optimize deployment, testing, and system configuration.
• Collaborate with Robotics, Autonomy, and Platform Engineers to ensure stable software releases.

Requirements

• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Strong proficiency with Linux operating systems and system configuration.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, debugging, and testing.
• Ability to travel for field trials.

Nice to have

• Experience with autonomous systems, robotics, or unmanned vehicles.
• Familiarity with networking, distributed systems, or middleware.
• Exposure to hardware/software integration.
• Experience supporting field trials or operational testing.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
