Solutions Architect (Computer Vision)

Location: New York City, San Francisco, or remote. The role primarily operates during US daytime hours and requires participation in some synchronous meetings each week. Travel of approximately 40% is expected.

Salary: Target annual OTE of $170,000–$240,000.

What you will do

• Partner with sales to qualify opportunities, understand customer objectives, and define technical requirements.
• Design secure, scalable solutions spanning hardware, software, cloud infrastructure, and edge deployments.
• Lead technical demonstrations and proofs of concept, including environment configuration and troubleshooting.
• Advise customers on APIs, architecture, data handling, model inference, security, scalability, and deployment scenarios.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to communicate customer feedback and shape product improvements.
• Partner with sales leadership and company leadership to help develop the solutions architecture function.

Requirements

• Experience in solutions architecture, technical sales engineering, or a related role.
• Experience designing edge-based solutions and understanding edge-computing constraints.
• Strong knowledge of computer vision, machine learning, and related technologies.
• Experience with cloud and edge infrastructure, ideally including AWS, Azure IoT, or similar platforms.
• Proficiency in Python or JavaScript, with strong communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel approximately 40% and attend recurring meetings during US daytime hours.

Nice to have

• Experience in computer vision, AI, IoT, manufacturing, automotive, logistics, food processing, or retail.
• Pre-sales or go-to-market team experience.
• Familiarity with OpenCV, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Strong customer-focused problem-solving skills.

Hiring process
