What you will do
- Develop and maintain high-performance Linux kernel drivers and modules for proprietary AI accelerators.
- Implement communication protocols and virtual device interfaces connecting accelerator hardware with host software.
- Manage PCIe, DMA, MMIO, interrupt handling, and other low-level hardware interactions.
- Enable virtualized accelerator access through QEMU and KVM, including device sharing and passthrough.
- Design memory protection, resource isolation, and security mechanisms for accelerator operations.
- Debug and scale systems across hardware, kernel, hypervisor, guest OS, and multi-device deployments.
Requirements
- Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Deep knowledge of OS internals, kernel memory management, I/O paths, and memory safety in kernel space.
- Hands-on experience developing Linux kernel drivers and kernel modules.
- Strong understanding of virtualization fundamentals, including KVM and hypervisors.
- Practical experience with QEMU internals, emulation frameworks, or custom device models.
- Proficient English required; French is a plus.
