What you will do

• Extend automated program verification tools and design new analysis capabilities.
• Adapt algorithms for symbolic model checking, including BMC, CEGAR, and IC3/PDR.
• Build translators from input languages to intermediate representations and optimize generated models.
• Identify and formalize new security properties for smart contracts.
• Collaborate with software engineers and management to define technical direction.
• Deliver production software through analysis, design, automated testing, CI/CD, operations, customer feedback, and support.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or five years of equivalent experience.
• At least four years of software development experience, including research, internships, or open-source work.
• At least two years of experience with model checking, formal verification, SAT/SMT solving, abstract interpretation, or related disciplines.
• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, mathematical logic, and automata theory.
• Ability to work remotely from the United States and meet US employment eligibility requirements.

Nice to have

• PhD in automated reasoning or a related field.
• Publications in formal methods and programming languages conferences such as POPL, CAV, TACAS, FMCAD, or FM.
• Experience with functional programming, especially OCaml or Haskell.
• Professional software development experience and strong problem-solving skills.
