What you will do
- Design and maintain a comprehensive compliance program covering RIA, B/D, and 40 Act registered fund obligations.
- Monitor SEC, FINRA, NFA, and CFTC rulemaking and translate developments into actionable policy updates.
- Assess compliance risk for all new products, funds, and business lines prior to launch.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory bodies (SEC, FINRA, NFA), managing examinations and communications.
- Hire, manage, and develop a growing compliance team, establishing performance expectations and career pathways.
- Partner with Legal, Finance, and Product teams to integrate compliance requirements into new initiatives.
Requirements
- 15+ years of compliance experience in financial services, including senior leadership and direct management.
- Expertise in B/D, RIA, and 40 Act compliance programs with deep knowledge of the Investment Advisers Act and Securities Acts.
- FINRA Series 7 and Series 24 licenses required.
- J.D. or advanced degree in a relevant discipline.
- Proven track record of leading regulatory examinations and managing relationships with the SEC, FINRA, and NFA.
- Experience with digital assets, cryptocurrency products, blockchain technology, and ETFs.
