Fullstack Engineer (AI)

TL;DR

Fullstack Engineer (JavaScript/Node.js/Python): Building and improving hirify.global’s end-to-end computer vision platform, enterprise features, and edge inference capabilities with an accent on full-stack product development, machine learning pipelines, and customer-focused engineering. Focus on designing visual data workflows, integrating APIs and client libraries, managing edge devices, and solving complex problems across browser, cloud, and Linux-based infrastructure.

Location: New York City, San Francisco, or remote. The role primarily operates during US daytime hours, requires attendance at two team meetups, and includes customer-site travel 1–2 times per quarter.

Salary: $165,000–$195,000 base plus equity.

hirify.global builds open-source and hosted computer vision tools that help developers create, train, deploy, and use machine learning models.

What you will do

• Build new features and improve the hirify.global product across the full stack.
• Develop enterprise workflows for collecting, analyzing, and delivering visual data and insights.
• Improve the Jetson-based edge inference pipeline and edge device management capabilities.
• Work with Enterprise and Field Engineering teams to address customer needs and improve delivery efficiency.
• Build integrations, APIs, client libraries, internal automations, and open-source projects as needed.
• Advocate for high-impact projects and operate with substantial autonomy in a rapidly changing environment.

Requirements

• Experience building full-stack software and the ability to learn unfamiliar technologies quickly.
• Strong JavaScript and Node.js skills, with Python experience for machine learning and image-processing workflows.
• Solid Linux foundation for supporting enterprise inference infrastructure.
• Ability to work collaboratively during US daytime hours and attend synchronous weekly meetings.
• Availability for required team meetups and customer-site travel 1–2 times per quarter.

Nice to have

• Experience with computer vision, TensorFlow.js, Docker, Firebase, Google Cloud Storage, or AWS.
• Experience with edge devices, APIs, browser-based applications, or open-source projects.
