Location: Hybrid role based in New York, United States

Salary: $160,000–$230,000 base salary, depending on knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

What you will do

• Develop capital deployment strategies and negotiate partnerships with institutional counterparties, liquidity providers, market makers, and DeFi protocols.
• Execute cryptocurrency sales, treasury management, options, and volatility programs aligned with corporate objectives and market conditions.
• Research DeFi protocols and digital assets, evaluate tokenomics and governance, and model yield dynamics, carry costs, and associated risks.
• Build and enforce monitoring frameworks for smart contract, concentration, collateralization, and credit risks, including hedging and diversification strategies.
• Monitor liquidity, market depth, volatility, and currency-pair dynamics while improving wallet configurations, position documentation, and fund-flow routing.
• Coordinate with accounting, engineering, deployment agencies, and executive leadership on reconciliation, security diligence, reporting, and audit-ready documentation.

Requirements

• 6–10+ years of experience in finance, investment banking, or capital markets, including at least 3 years of hands-on blockchain or DeFi experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is strongly preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of on-chain data, DeFi protocols including AMMs, lending, and CDPs, and market-making dynamics.
• Experience with blockchain explorers, on-chain analytics tools such as Dune, and trading platforms.
• Expert quantitative skills with the ability to build, maintain, and interpret complex financial models for high-volatility digital assets.
• Proven ability to present investment and risk strategies to executive stakeholders and connect decentralized finance workflows with traditional accounting requirements.

Nice to have

• MBA or another advanced degree.
• Deep familiarity with emerging DeFi protocols, digital asset treasury operations, and smart contract security diligence.
