What you will do

• Lead the AI Platform team while remaining hands-on with production AI systems.
• Own the orchestration layer connecting product experiences with banking infrastructure through APIs, MCP, and related interfaces.
• Establish evaluation frameworks that demonstrate the reliability of AI agents.
• Evaluate and integrate emerging agent protocols and orchestration frameworks, including A2A, x402, MCP, and LangGraph.
• Partner with Product Development and Banking Core to integrate AI capabilities across products and operations.
• Hire, mentor, and develop AI engineers and data scientists as the team grows.

Requirements

• Deep experience shipping production AI systems, including intensive experience with modern LLMs or extensive machine learning experience.
• Hands-on coding ability and willingness to contribute directly as an approximately 80/20 maker/manager.
• Strong judgment in model selection, evaluation methodology, and build-versus-buy decisions.
• Security-minded understanding of prompt injection, adversarial inputs, and AI risks in financial systems.
• Ability to set technical direction and deliver effectively in ambiguous environments.
• Experience with Python, TypeScript, AWS, Cloudflare, and multiple AI models.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, payments, or regulated financial services.
• Hands-on experience with agent orchestration frameworks.
• Background in compliance or risk systems where auditability is important.
