Senior Fundraising Systems Manager | Fundraising Systems Director (AI Automation)

Location: Fully remote, but applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $100,000–$110,000 annually for Senior Fundraising Systems Manager or $110,000–$120,000 annually for Fundraising Systems Director, based on experience.

What you will do

• Own the roadmap for donor data, CRM architecture, and fundraising systems.
• Design taxonomies, custom data structures, automations, agents, forms, views, and workflows.
• Build and maintain Claude-powered automations for briefing generation, prospecting support, and related fundraising work.
• Configure tools, wrangle data, fix workflows, and evaluate systems that may extend or replace parts of the current CRM.
• Partner with fundraisers and leadership to translate operational needs into working systems.
• Document systems, train users, and improve data hygiene and reporting.

Requirements

• Experience building data or CRM systems from scratch rather than only administering an existing CRM.
• Hands-on experience designing AI workflows and automations with Claude or similar tools, Zapier, and API integrations: 1+ year for Senior Manager or 2+ years for Director.
• Comfort working as a generalist across messy data, system architecture, configuration, and implementation.
• Major donor fundraising experience, including understanding donor-advising and cultivation-pipeline terminology: 3–5 years for Senior Manager or 5+ years for Director.
• Ability to learn complex, non-standard internal processes and systematize them.
• Legal eligibility to work in the United States is required; sponsorship is unavailable.

Nice to have

• Experience with EveryAction or a comparable political or nonprofit CRM.
• Experience in progressive advocacy, electoral, or aligned mission spaces.
• Experience mentoring or managing junior teammates.
