Quality Engineer (Automotive)

What you will do

• Lead customer and supplier claim management, ensuring timely containment and root cause analysis.
• Manage and coordinate PPAP/PSW approval processes to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
• Drive structured problem-solving using 8D, 5 Why, and Ishikawa tools to improve product quality.
• Coordinate incoming material quality activities, including inspections and sorting actions.
• Collaborate with production plants, logistics providers, and suppliers to resolve quality issues.
• Monitor and reduce quality-related costs, such as scrap and return deliveries.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in an automotive quality role with exposure to customer and supplier management.
• Hands-on experience with PPAP, PSW, and claim management processes.
• Strong knowledge of 8D, Root Cause Analysis, 5 Why, and Ishikawa methodologies.
• Proficiency in SAP and MS Office applications.
• Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken).
