AWS Cloud Architect

What you will do

• Design and implement AWS environments across DEV, TEST, UAT, PROD, and DR.
• Translate business and application requirements into secure, scalable, highly available, resilient, and cost-effective AWS architectures aligned with AWS Well-Architected principles.
• Design VPCs, subnetting, routing, Cloud WAN, VPC endpoints, PrivateLink, Route 53, ALB/NLB, hybrid connectivity, and integrations with corporate networks, firewalls, Netskope, and on-premises environments.
• Build and support EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, MWAA, Cognito, Secrets Manager, Systems Manager, IAM, KMS, certificates, secrets management, and Microsoft Entra ID integrations.
• Develop infrastructure with Terraform and automate processes using AWS CLI, Python, PowerShell, and Bash; build CI/CD pipelines with security scanning, policy validation, approval gates, and rollback procedures.
• Implement monitoring and observability, troubleshoot complex infrastructure and managed-service issues, and support production operations, incident response, root-cause analysis, disaster recovery, capacity planning, cost optimization, mentoring, and architecture leadership.

Requirements

• Experienced AWS Cloud Architect with hands-on AWS architecture and implementation experience.
• Experience designing secure, scalable, highly available, resilient, and cost-effective AWS environments across DEV, TEST, UAT, PROD, and DR.
• Expertise in AWS networking, including VPCs, subnetting, routing, Cloud WAN, VPC endpoints, PrivateLink, Route 53, ALB/NLB, hybrid connectivity, corporate firewalls, Netskope, and on-premises integration.
• Experience with EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, MWAA, Cognito, Secrets Manager, Systems Manager, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, VPC Flow Logs, AWS Config, SNS, and dashboards.
• Experience implementing IAM roles, cross-account access, KMS encryption, certificate management, secrets management, least-privilege security controls, and Microsoft Entra ID SSO and identity federation.
• Proficiency with Terraform, AWS CLI, Python, PowerShell, and Bash.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines with security scanning, policy validation, approval gates, and rollback procedures.
• Ability to troubleshoot AWS infrastructure, networking, security, IAM, DNS, Linux, database, and managed-service issues.
• U.S. work authorization as a U.S. Citizen, Green Card Holder, EAD Holder, H1B holder, or H-1B transfer candidate; new H-1B sponsorship is unavailable.
