What you will do

• Own end-to-end attribution for DPRK and Chinese threat actors, including Lazarus Group and underground banking networks.
• Lead rapid on-chain attribution responses to sanctions events from OFAC and allied authorities.
• Map illicit fund flows through mixers, cross-chain bridges, and no-KYC swaps.
• Produce finished intelligence, advisory notes, and contributions to flagship publications like the Crypto Crime Report.
• Represent the company as an external expert at conferences, in the press, and in government briefings.
• Design and tune AI automation to scale analysis and detection of complex laundering typologies.

Requirements

• Must be based in the USA.
• Deep, demonstrable expertise in DPRK state-sponsored operations or Chinese-language money laundering.
• Proven ability to perform on-chain tracing against high-stakes targets.
• Background in national security, threat finance, or investigations (IC, Treasury/OFAC, LE, or military).
• 5+ years of relevant experience for Senior; 8+ years for Staff level.
• Exceptional writing and communication skills for outward-facing expert representation.

Nice to have

• Fluency in Mandarin or Korean.
• Direct experience with the OFAC sanctions and designation process.
• Published research or public speaking history on DPRK crypto theft or Chinese money laundering.
• Familiarity with Huione-style guarantee marketplaces.
