We're Hiring: Senior SysOps Engineer
Location: Remote (EU only | No RF/RB)
Start: ASAP
Duration: Long-term project
Rate: From €28/hour (final rate depends on experience and will be discussed during the interview)
English: B2+
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure, deploy, and maintain Linux-based infrastructure
- Install, patch, troubleshoot, and optimize production systems
- Deploy and operate systems in virtualized environments (Proxmox)
- Integrate and maintain servers, NAS, UPS, PDUs, rack equipment, and storage
- Configure and maintain networking (IP addressing, VLANs, routing, firewalls)
- Manage authentication and access using FreeIPA and FreeRADIUS
- Ensure system monitoring, logging, stability, and operational visibility
- Deploy and maintain containerized services using Docker
- Support system integrations and network communication flows
- Configure and integrate IoT environments, including cameras, radars, speakers, and other connected devices
Requirements:
✅ Strong Linux system administration experience
✅ Experience with Proxmox virtualization
✅ Practical knowledge of servers, storage, NAS, UPS, PDUs, and rack infrastructure
✅ Good understanding of networking (IP, VLANs, routing, firewalls)
✅ Experience with FreeIPA and FreeRADIUS
✅ Experience with monitoring and observability tools:
- Grafana
- Prometheus
- Loki
- Alloy (or similar)
✅ Docker and containerized services
✅ System integration experience
✅ Practical IoT integration experience
✅ English level B2+
