Service Coordinator/Engineer (Marine Automation)

Location: Lier, Norway (Hybrid/Office-based with travel to ships and customers)

What you will do

• Support and service Marine customers globally using an extensive service network.
• Coordinate and administrate service jobs, managing the workflow from quotation to invoicing via ERP systems.
• Plan and execute service on demand and system upgrades.
• Follow up on open warranty cases and ensure quotation accuracy and traceability.
• Participate in the 24/7 emergency support line and substitute for the Service Manager.

Requirements

• Technical background or equivalent experience in customer service or project coordination, preferably in marine automation.
• Experience with ERP (e.g., Infor LN) and CRM systems.
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
• Ability to travel to customers, ships, or marine floating devices.
• Engineering background with PLC and/or automation programming knowledge.

Nice to have

• Experience working on ships with electrical or data programming.
• Knowledge of marine ship engine systems.
• Experience working abroad.
• Additional language proficiency.
