VP, EH&S (Global)

Location: United States; regular international travel to sites across the US, UK, and the Nordics (40–50%).

Salary: $260,000–$450,000 USD base salary, plus potential bonus, equity, and commission programs.

What you will do

• Own global EH&S strategy, policies, standards, performance targets, and the management system across development, construction, commissioning, and operations.
• Lead owner-side safety across greenfield campuses, retrofits, colocation deployments, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Establish electrical safety, lockout/tagout, permit-to-work, critical-environment, and high-energy hazard controls.
• Direct occupational health, environmental compliance, incident investigation, emergency preparedness, and crisis response.
• Represent EH&S in design reviews, permitting, regulatory inspections, customer assurance, and executive reporting.
• Build and lead the global EH&S organization, including regional, site-based, and environmental compliance teams.

Requirements

• 15+ years of EH&S experience, including 5+ years leading a global or multi-region function across construction and operations.
• Owner-side or EPC experience on large capital programs such as data centers, semiconductor facilities, power generation, energy, or heavy industrial projects.
• Command of US OSHA requirements and at least one European regulatory regime, with Nordic experience strongly advantageous.
• Experience building EH&S management systems, managing contractor safety, and operating in energized medium- and high-voltage environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, environmental science, engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to work in the United States and travel internationally to Nordic, UK, US, and remote sites 40–50% of the time.

Nice to have

• CSP, CIH, CHMM, or NEBOSH Diploma.
• Experience with UK CDM and HSE requirements, EEA regulations, and environmental permitting.
