Software Developer (C#)

Location: Remote within British Columbia, Canada

What you will do

• Design and implement full-stack features for maintenance workflows, compliance and document management, and asset and component tracking.
• Deliver enterprise integrations, including document synchronization with third-party systems such as SharePoint.
• Plan and estimate work against customer-contracted release windows and participate in Agile ceremonies.
• Review code and ensure designs and implementations follow engineering standards.
• Collaborate with product management, QA, support, and implementation teams to resolve live customer issues.
• Use AI tools for code generation, refactoring, testing, and documentation while validating output for quality and security.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with strongly typed object-oriented languages, preferably C#.
• Experience with frontend frameworks, preferably Vue, and modern web technologies including HTML5 and CSS.
• Knowledge of relational database management systems, preferably PostgreSQL.
• Solid Git experience with branching strategies, pull requests, and code reviews.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills; the role is remote within British Columbia, Canada.

Nice to have

• Maritime industry knowledge.
• Enterprise document management or SharePoint integration experience.
• Hands-on experience with Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar AI development tools.
• Experience with multi-tenant SaaS platforms or ERP integrations.
