People Operations Coordinator

What you will do

• Own the onboarding process and new hire system for the Japan region to ensure a seamless employee experience.
• Administer HRIS (Workday) and the ticketing system (ServiceDesk) with a high degree of accuracy.
• Support Learning & Development (L&D) programs, including training coordination and attendance tracking.
• Coordinate culture and community initiatives, including support for disability hiring and club activities.
• Handle Japan-specific operations, such as purchasing, digital file hygiene, and recruiting support.
• Utilize AI Automate tools to streamline and optimize People Operations processes.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Japanese and English are required.
• A 4-year University Degree is required.
• Experience coordinating professional development programs and platforms.
• Strong interest in HR technologies like Workday and automation platforms.
• Proven track record of building collaborative relationships with global stakeholders across time zones.
• Ability to operate with discretion and integrity when handling sensitive information.
