TL;DR
Finance Manager (Fintech): Leading the accounting function for the Ezypay division to support growth across Asia Pacific with an accent on statutory reporting, tax compliance, and multi-jurisdictional accounting. Focus on scaling finance operations, implementing ERP enhancements, and mentoring a high-performing accounting team.
Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Must be legally authorised to work in Malaysia (no visa sponsorship provided).
Compensation: MYR 204,000 - MYR 228,000 yearly

What you will do
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team to foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Oversee daily accounting operations including General Ledger, AP, AR, treasury, and month/year-end closing.
- Manage statutory reporting, external audits, and tax compliance (GST/VAT/SST) across multiple jurisdictions.
- Partner with the Finance Director on budgeting, cash flow management, and financial planning.
- Drive finance process improvements and lead ERP implementation and automation initiatives.
- Act as the primary escalation point for technical accounting matters and provide guidance to the team.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting or Finance with a professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CA or equivalent).
- 10+ years of experience in accounting and finance, including several years in people leadership.
- Proven experience managing accounting across multiple legal entities and jurisdictions.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, consolidation, taxation, and internal controls.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP.
- Legal authorization to work in Malaysia (no visa sponsorship provided).
Nice to have
- Experience working in a multinational, fintech, or high-growth technology environment.
- Proficiency with business intelligence tools such as Power BI or OneStream.
