What you will do
- Annotate and label large volumes of visual data including images, UI layouts, compositions, and graphics with high precision.
- Evaluate AI-generated outputs for aesthetic quality, composition, accessibility, and brand alignment.
- Develop visual scoring rubrics and structured evaluation frameworks to guide model improvement.
- Identify patterns, failure modes, and edge cases to enhance model performance.
- Translate nuanced design critique into structured, actionable feedback for ML engineers and research scientists.
- Prototype workflows and test hypotheses using generative AI tools to explore model behaviors.
Requirements
- Strong design fundamentals in composition, color theory, typography, layout, and hierarchy.
- Portfolio demonstrating visual excellence in graphic design, product design, UI/UX, or illustration.
- Familiarity with generative AI tools and an understanding of how training data influences model behavior.
- Ability to evaluate visual outputs with precision and provide structured, repeatable feedback.
- Experience working in documentation-heavy, cross-functional environments.
- Must be based in Sydney or Melbourne to support team collaboration.
Nice to have
- Experience with Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, or 3D tools.
- Prior experience in annotation, data labeling, or ML operations.
- Basic familiarity with Python, prompt engineering, or dataset tooling.
- Knowledge of WCAG accessibility guidelines or usability heuristics.
