Salary: $112,710 - $183,140

What you will do

• Partner with design, product, and marketing teams to generate focused research insights based on business needs.
• Design and conduct user research including surveys, interviews, field studies, and rapid AI prototype testing.
• Translate research findings into actionable recommendations to inform product execution and development roadmaps.
• Collaborate with data analytics and other researchers to triangulate data from multiple sources.
• Communicate results and opportunities clearly to all levels of management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Market Research, Anthropology, Psychology, Sociology, Cognitive Science, Information Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience integrating user research into product and service design practices.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating the ability to extract actionable insights from qualitative data.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Chicago, IL, Peoria, IL, or Denver, CO.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Nice to have

• Experience conducting customer research in startup environments.
• Proficiency in both physical and digital customer research.
• Strong working knowledge of experiment design and quantitative methods/statistics.
• Experience using standard market research tools.
