What you will do
- Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the financial crime risk assessment framework.
- Act as the primary subject-matter expert on AML/CTF, sanctions, and anti-bribery & corruption.
- Drive regulatory watch on national and international laws, including CSSF circulars, EBA guidelines, and EU directives.
- Oversee complex investigations of suspicious activities and manage high-risk case escalations.
- Mentor, coach, and supervise financial crime team members to support their professional development.
- Manage strategic projects such as AML transaction monitoring tool implementation and KYC framework enhancements.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Legal, Compliance, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in AML/financial crime within the banking, payment, or financial services sector.
- Must be based in or able to work in Luxembourg (Hybrid).
- In-depth knowledge of Luxembourg and EU anti-money laundering laws and CSSF regulations.
- Recognized AML certification (e.g., CAMS) is required; Sanctions certification is a plus.
- Fluent English proficiency (C1).
