What you will do

• Define system architecture, develop requirement specifications, and create test plans in collaboration with marketing and engineering.
• Work with functional groups to define and review technical designs.
• Execute test plans and perform analysis to validate system performance and implement solutions through system-level troubleshooting.
• Support internal and external customers in building and optimizing tool performance.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts in manufacturing and field environments.

Requirements

• Strong background in engineering or physical science with demonstrated skills in complex optical imaging and control motion systems.
• High proficiency in Python scripting for data collection and analysis.
• Effective communication skills for technical sharing and executive reporting.
• PhD with 3+ years of experience, Master's with 6+ years, or Bachelor's with 8+ years of related work experience.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Milpitas, CA.

Nice to have

• Experience with image processing or a strong understanding of signal/imaging process algorithms.
