TL;DR
Technical Solutions Specialist (IFM): Designing and optimizing Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) service delivery models with an accent on building systems, maintenance strategies, and operational efficiency. Focus on translating client requirements into technical operational models, conducting facility data analysis, and developing technical content for high-value bids.
Location: Hybrid in Edmonton, Canada
Compensation: CAD 120,000 - 125,000 yearly

What you will do
- Build comprehensive service delivery models, including maintenance programs, staffing structures, and asset strategies.
- Analyze client requirements, facility data, and asset profiles to create operationally feasible and cost-effective models.
- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Finance teams to validate approaches and refine service models.
- Develop technical narratives, mobilization plans, and operational methodologies for RFPs.
- Interpret facility condition data and CMMS outputs to shape maintenance strategies and performance models.
- Recommend smart approaches to building systems optimization and FM technologies.
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Engineering, Facilities Management, Building Systems, or a related technical discipline.
- 7–10+ years of experience in IFM, technical services, building operations, or asset management.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and building systems.
- Experience designing operational or technical service delivery models.
- Ability to work in a hybrid model in Edmonton, Canada.
- Clear and confident communication skills for translating technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Nice to have
- Relevant professional designations such as P.Eng., CET, CFM, FMA, RPA, or PMP.
- Strategic thinking skills and experience coaching cross-functional bid teams.
