Salary: $150,000 – $200,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead development of large-scale software applications focusing on high quality and stability.
• Influence critical architectural decisions to ensure systems are scalable and maintainable.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers on technical standards.
• Take ownership of technical initiatives and proactively address challenges based on support data.
• Implement robust quality assurance practices to deliver high-performance software.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Java software development for product applications.
• 5+ years of experience with highly scalable systems.
• Proven ability to solve complex system design challenges and scaling issues.
• Expertise in API design and RESTful services using frameworks like Jersey or Spring.
• Proficiency in relational database design and object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
• Must be based in the USA; this position is NOT eligible for Visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with caching systems, particularly Redis.
• Experience with Kotlin, C++, Golang, and Postgres.
• Knowledge of running scalable cloud services in AWS.
