Salary: $150,825 – $201,100 per year

What you will do

• Drive the design and implementation of cloud networking solutions for the Blast Protocol.
• Contribute to the redesign of client-server connection establishment for cloud deployments.
• Solve customer-facing technical challenges involving networking, connectivity, and reliability.
• Collaborate across teams on design discussions, implementation planning, and rollout.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks and workflows to support engineering efficiency.
• Modernize legacy technology stacks using cloud-native and container-based approaches.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4+ years of experience coding in C or C++ on Windows/Linux.
• Strong expertise in transport-layer networking, including TLS, TCP, and UDP.
• Solid understanding of client-agent connection architectures in cloud deployments.
• Must be based in Mountain View, CA (Hybrid).
• Must not require immigration sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with WebRTC (STUN, TURN) and related connectivity technologies.
• Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Computer Networking.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.
• Familiarity with AI tools or AI-assisted development workflows.
• Exposure to Cloud Networking with Wireshark and Debuggers.
