What you will do

• Own the end-to-end definition and implementation of control plane and data plane services for a self-contained infrastructure platform.
• Drive the design, data modeling, and versioning of robust platform APIs (REST/gRPC) to power UI and programmatic integrations.
• Architect a telemetry framework using metrics, logs, and traces for deep system visibility in isolated environments.
• Ensure services and dependencies run smoothly across private clouds and zero-egress networks.
• Provide technical leadership and translate complex enterprise infrastructure needs into execution roadmaps.
• Mentor senior engineers through comprehensive design reviews and high-leverage code contributions.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience at Staff or Principal level in infrastructure, DBaaS, or private cloud.
• Proven success building production-grade infrastructure control planes and API productization.
• Expertise in cloud-native observability stacks such as Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, and Grafana.
• Deep Kubernetes knowledge, including building custom Operators (CRDs) and managing Helm deployments.
• Systems design expertise across AWS, GCP, Azure, Red Hat OpenShift, and bare-metal infrastructure.
• Expert proficiency in Go, Python, or TypeScript and distributed state stores (Etcd, Consul, PostgreSQL).
