Location: Remote (must reside in the United States)

Salary: $45–75 per hour (1099 contractor)

What you will do

• Write technical research reports (about 80% of the role) that use test/benchmark data to support a marketing story.
• Analyze complex spreadsheets, published benchmark data, and research findings to identify key insights.
• Extract relevant data points and convert them into clear, accurate narratives for technical and marketing audiences.
• Collaborate with strategists, analysts, designers, and subject matter experts to produce written and occasional visual assets.
• Build expertise in high-tech topics and transfer it into written deliverables and supporting graphics.
• Deliver drafts on schedule in a fast-changing environment with minimal remote supervision.

Requirements

• Residency: must reside in the United States
• Experience writing or supporting B2B messaging and positioning.
• Strong analytical judgment to distinguish meaningful findings from noise and connect them to a broader business/technical story.
• Excellent math skills and advanced spreadsheet skills.
• Ability to create charts and visualizations in spreadsheets or other software.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and identify the insights that matter most to the target audience.
