TL;DR
Subject Matter Expert, Election Integrity, Violent Extremism, & Fraud (AI): Defining and enforcing policies to prevent election manipulation, violent extremism, and fraud within open AI models with an accent on detection strategies and enforcement workflows. Focus on scaling content review operations, conducting high-stakes model evaluations, and collaborating with technical safety teams to mitigate AI-facilitated harms.
Location: On-site in New York, NY; London; San Francisco, CA; or Washington, D.C.

What you will do
- Serve as the internal authority on election integrity, counterterrorism, and fraud to set standards and escalation thresholds.
- Design and oversee content evaluation and review workflows, including task routing and quality assurance.
- Partner with Safety and Engineering teams to develop automated detection models and hash-matching pipelines.
- Conduct high-stakes evaluations of models to ensure they meet risk thresholds before open-weights release.
- Manage relationships with external bodies, including NGOs, election officials, and law enforcement.
- Develop internal documentation and decision trees for consistent policy enforcement at scale.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in election integrity, disinformation, counterterrorism, or fraud prevention.
- Experience in trust & safety or content moderation operations.
- Proven track record of scaling policy enforcement or content review workflows.
- Proficiency in SQL for monitoring workflow health and enforcement trends.
- Ability to make high-stakes decisions under time pressure.
- Must be based in or able to work on-site in New York, London, San Francisco, or Washington, D.C.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with ABCDE/DISARM frameworks or EU Digital Services Act (DSA).
- Experience with GenAI misuse and content-authenticity technologies (e.g., C2PA).
- Proficiency in Python for data analysis or automation.
- Additional language proficiency beyond English.
