Senior Electrical Engineer (IoT): Designing and developing end-to-end security-focused consumer products with an accent on low-power battery operation and RF connectivity. Location: Hybrid in Boston, MA (expects presence in office on two core days)

Salary: $106,100 – $141,500 per year

What you will do

• Lead the full lifecycle design of security product subsystems from early-stage concept to mass production.
• Optimize hardware designs for battery operation with extremely low power consumption.
• Collaborate with mechanical, firmware, industrial design, and product management teams to analyze design tradeoffs.
• Develop and execute prototyping and testing strategies to validate electrical, RF, connectivity, and audio performance.
• Manage technical communication and design execution with global manufacturing partners.
• Contribute to product architecture and Technical Requirements Documents to ensure system alignment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience, with at least 2 years working on consumer products.
• Expertise in embedded systems design, including UART, SPI, I2C, USB, Ethernet, SDIO, and MIPI.
• Proficiency with RF technologies, including Sub-GHz, WiFi, and BLE.
• Proven experience owning design validation plans across various electrical and connectivity subsystems.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Boston, MA.
