Senior Staff Product Designer

Overview

This role is within the Experience Design department focused on evolving PayPal’s product and brand transformation. The Senior Staff Product Designer will focus on Peer-to-Peer money movement experiences across PayPal’s app, web, and partnerships.

What you will do

• Design and deliver strategic, user-centered product design solutions.
• Collaborate within multi-disciplinary teams including engineering, product management, and marketing.
• Focus on Peer-to-Peer features such as sending/receiving money, Money Pools, Bill Splits, Crypto Sharing, and Currency Exchanges.
• Create detailed UX flows, visual designs, site maps, and product states.
• Develop design systems and maintain brand identity consistency.
• Package design work into compelling presentations and prototypes.

Requirements

• Location: Hybrid work model with 3 days in office in the US and 2 days remote.
• English: B2 level or higher.
• Strong skills in UX, UI, interaction, and visual design.
• Experience with product definition, concept design, and performance improvement.
• Ability to simplify complex problems into functional design solutions.
• Experience creating design audits and journey maps.
