What you will do

• Lead overall protection, automation, and integration design for capital projects in accordance with standards.
• Perform detailed reviews of existing protection schemes, focusing on anti-islanding, generator intertie, and SPS schemes.
• Review contractor-provided relay settings, logic diagrams, and operational descriptions.
• Conduct area relay coordination and determine necessary coordination levels based on system performance.
• Design and review SCADA point indexes, HMI screens, and IED Data Maps.
• Provide technical design support during the implementation, testing, and commissioning phases.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of engineering experience in the functional area.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or engineering technology.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Binghamton, NY.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
