What you will do

• Conduct general building maintenance and respond to reactive maintenance calls.
• Perform repairs related to plumbing, HVAC, and other building services.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement pre-work safety plans.
• Manage tools, materials, and estimate resources for repairs.
• Close work orders within the specified response time policy.
• Maintain professional communication with clients, vendors, and contractors.

Requirements

• Must be based in Dartmouth, NS, Canada
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar maintenance position.
• Must be able to obtain Secret level security clearance with Defense Canada
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract.
• Proficiency in reading mechanical, electrical, and control drawings.
• Ability to lift 50lbs and work at heights, including ladders and rooftops.

Nice to have

• Building operator certificate or trades certificate.
• Experience with CMMS and BAS.
