Financial Analyst

TL;DR

Financial Analyst (FP&A): Supporting the Sales & Marketing organization with monthly financial reporting, KPI tracking, and the annual budget process, with an accent on building and maintaining dynamic financial models and analyzing ARR, retention, churn, CAC, and LTV. Focus on forecasting, variance analysis, and identifying trends, risks, and outliers to provide actionable recommendations for business decision-making.

What you will do

• Partner with Sales & Marketing stakeholders across customer acquisition and retention teams.
• Perform data analysis and provide monthly variance support to generate actionable insights.
• Build and maintain dynamic financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and planning cycles.
• Prepare Sales-focused KPIs (e.g., ARR, retention, churn) to report monthly and quarterly performance.
• Support revenue planning by maintaining a SaaS revenue forecasting model and analyzing insights, trends, and outlier variances.
• Collaborate with FP&A teammates on consolidated models for assigned organizational areas.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in a Financial Analyst or FP&A role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred).
• Strong financial modeling and forecasting skills.
• Understanding of growth metrics such as ARR, retention, churn, CAC, LTV, and LTV:CAC.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
