What you will do

• Hire, lead, and mentor a group of 2D artists to enhance their skills and team cohesion.
• Collaborate with the Art Director to establish and enhance visual styles and guidelines for new and existing projects.
• Create high-quality artwork and production assets, from early sketches to final polish.
• Solve creative problems through innovative design, balancing form and function.
• Participate in the overall planning and scoping of concept needs for projects.
• Provide multiple creative options and iterate upon them as projects progress.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• 3+ years of experience leading a team of 2D artists.
• 5+ years of professional experience in 2D art for video games.
• Strong mastery of art fundamentals, including color, light, composition, anatomy, perspective, and depth.
• Fluency in Photoshop and proficiency with Perforce, Unreal Engine, and the Atlassian Suite.
• Ability to interpret creative briefs and adapt quickly to changing requirements.
