What you will do

• Develop high-quality data pipelines to ingest and transform data from diverse sources and systems.
• Design data governance strategies and define schemas to enable efficient and secure data sharing.
• Implement and optimize big-data technologies including Redshift, Iceberg, Hive, and Spark.
• Leverage AI/LLMs to automate manual and redundant data engineering tasks.
• Build full CI/CD data pipelines to improve data quality and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with SDEs, Data Scientists, and Security Engineers to build datasets for security investigations.

Requirements

• 1+ years of data engineering experience.
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
• Proficiency in one or more query languages such as SQL, HiveQL, or SparkSQL.
• Experience with scripting languages, specifically Python or KornShell.
• Must be based in or be able to work from Seattle, WA.

Nice to have

• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, Spark, and EMR.
