Salary: $162,000 – $260,000 per year

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain solutions for estimating the pose of vehicles and other assets like trailers.
• Process high-rate data from diverse sensors to provide real-time, high-precision location and motion measurements.
• Rigorously evaluate and test solutions to verify the safety and efficiency of the localization system.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders across partner teams to solve critical product challenges.

Requirements

• 5+ years of industry experience building software in a production environment.
• Proficiency in C++ and Python using modern best practices.
• Graduate level degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or Electrical Engineering.
• Deep knowledge of state estimation theory (sensor fusion, Kalman Filtering, non-linear estimation, SLAM).
• Experience with sensor data modeling (Lidar, IMU, radar, camera) and spatial transforms.
• Must be based in or able to work from Mountain View, CA for the required hybrid schedule.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in robotics or autonomous vehicle applications.
• Experience with ML solutions and GPU development.
