Compensation: $150,000 – $185,000 + Equity + Bonus

What you will do

• Architect and optimize end-to-end perception pipelines for embedded edge hardware.
• Design and train perception models for maritime environments using large vision models.
• Implement multi-modal sensor fusion (camera, radar, lidar) for unified situational awareness.
• Deploy models using NVIDIA Triton and optimize for latency and throughput.
• Define evaluation frameworks to monitor system health and investigate perception failures.
• Collaborate with hardware and mission software teams to integrate perception outputs.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for U.S. security clearance required.
• 3+ years of experience developing perception systems in C++ and/or Python on Linux.
• Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Proficiency with inference tooling such as NVIDIA Triton, TensorRT, or ONNX Runtime.
• Experience implementing sensor fusion across heterogeneous modalities.
• Strong systems-thinking mindset and ability to navigate complex codebases.

Nice to have

• Experience deploying perception systems on embedded platforms like Jetson or FPGA.
• Familiarity with autonomy frameworks such as ROS2 or MOOS-IvP.
• Knowledge of maritime or aerial sensor environments.
• Experience with safety-critical or real-time systems.
• Familiarity with military systems and defense acquisition processes.
