Salary: $171,000 – $303,000

What you will do

• Define vehicle connectivity and communication architecture.
• Design and implement highly-reliable, low-latency vehicle communications frameworks for diverse mobile network conditions.
• Address networking, performance, and observability concerns for vehicle runtime.
• Collaborate with autonomy engineers to optimize data throughput and efficiency.
• Provide engineering support for field testing and fleet operations.
• Mentor senior engineers and establish coding standards to drive the connectivity roadmap.

Requirements

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience.
• Expert-level C++ programming skills for high-performance, thread-safe systems in Linux.
• Experience with networking protocols (TCP, UDP, gRPC, HTTP) and network health monitoring.
• Proficiency in Linux network configuration and troubleshooting.
• Ability to navigate and work effectively in large codebases.
• Must be able to work from an hirify.global office at least 3 days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with performance evaluation and optimization.
• Strong programming skills in GoLang.
• Experience with safety-critical systems.
