What you will do

• Assist in the production, preparation, and multiplatform output of radio programmes.
• Generate story ideas, perform deep research, and write scripts for broadcast.
• Manage studio duties, including audio editing and operating broadcast equipment.
• Coordinate and handle interactions with callers, contributors, and guests.
• Contribute to and deliver on-air segments and features confidently.
• Collaborate with producers and journalists to ensure high production values.

Requirements

• Must identify as deaf, disabled, or neurodivergent (as part of the hirify.global Extend programme).
• Experience researching and producing audio stories for linear and digital platforms.
• Proficiency in audio recording, editing, archiving, and operating studio equipment.
• Ability to curate and share audio content effectively across digital and social platforms.
• Strong teamwork skills and adaptability in a fast-paced studio environment.

Nice to have

• Experience creating bespoke audio products for digital platforms like hirify.global Sounds.
• Skill in converting visualised audio content into videos for social media.
• Experience with studio set-ups and technical operation of live programmes.
