What you will do

• Architect the long-term technical strategy and roadmap for core developer infrastructure, including CI, SCM, and development environments.
• Build and maintain scalable infrastructure for speed, safety, and reliability under increasing operational load.
• Lead developer onboarding and remote development environment strategy to reduce time-to-first-commit.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to standardize build and CI patterns and eliminate developer friction.
• Provide technical mentorship through rigorous design reviews and best-practice operational guidelines.

Requirements

• Extensive experience designing, scaling, and operating critical developer infrastructure or high-volume build and CI systems in production.
• Deep expertise in modern build systems such as Bazel and distributed/remote build execution, plus CI/CD at scale.
• Strong programming proficiency in Go or Python, with a track record of building reliable, maintainable system software.
• Proven ability to guide complex technical initiatives from conception to completion aligned with company objectives.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to drive adoption of build/CI tooling and mentor engineers.
