What you will do

• Lead the design and development of advanced ML models exploring LLMs, RAG, and sequence-based architectures.
• Identify and scope high-impact opportunities to transform Customer Operations through machine learning.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to drive standards and expertise across the ML discipline.
• Steer technical strategy and collaborate with MLOps and backend engineers to optimize the ML model lifecycle.
• Ship impactful ML-based solutions as a technical individual contributor within cross-functional product squads.

Requirements

• Proven track record of leading the development and deployment of advanced ML models in a fast-moving tech environment.
• Experience shipping deep learning, graph-based, or sequence-based ML architectures to production.
• Extensive experience writing production Python code and strong command of SQL.
• Must be based in the UK or eligible to relocate via visa sponsorship.
• Strong product mindset with a focus on measurable business impact and customer outcomes.

Nice to have

• Experience in customer operations, capacity planning, forecasting, or working within regulated institutions.
• Commercial experience writing critical production code and working with microservices.

• Initial 30-minute recruiter call and a 45-minute call with the hiring manager.
• Technical evaluations: ML Modelling interview and Product & ML interview (60 minutes each).
• Final 60-minute behavioural interview.
