Direct Response Copywriter and Editor

Location: Remote from Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, or North Macedonia; working hours are 9 AM–5 PM Eastern Time, Monday–Friday, with at least 5 hours of overlap required.

Salary: CAD 2,500–3,800 per month.

What you will do

• Write and edit direct-response copy for websites, landing pages, social media, email campaigns, and blogs.
• Adapt messaging to different audiences, industries, campaign types, and brand voices.
• Work from briefs covering goals, audiences, messaging direction, and success metrics.
• Collaborate with marketing strategists and designers to improve campaigns.
• Optimize copy using conversion rates, CTR, and engagement data.
• Research and use SEO and AI tools to improve content production while maintaining quality.

Requirements

• English proficiency at C1 level or higher.
• At least 3 years of hands-on copywriting and/or editing experience.
• Experience in a digital marketing, advertising, or SEO agency.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
• Strong marketing knowledge and the ability to write persuasive, conversion-focused copy.
• Willingness and ability to work during Eastern Time hours with the required overlap.
