What you will do

• Set technical evolution for hirify.global’s APIs and payment integrations, defining architectural direction and engineering standards.
• Hire, mentor, coach, and develop engineers to build a high-performing integrations team.
• Own system and integration architecture connecting backend services and payment flows; contribute hands-on via development, architecture decisions, and code reviews.
• Drive engineering excellence across API design, testing, performance, security, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with Product, Backend, and Payments teams to align technical solutions with business and merchant needs.
• Ensure scalability, resilience, documentation quality, and reliability for enterprise merchants and global payment volumes.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing and growing engineering teams (hiring, coaching, performance management).
• Strong ability to drive technical decisions and manage competing priorities in a fast-moving environment.
• Payments expertise, including experience in payments companies/teams and PSP integration work.
• Deep payments infrastructure knowledge (e.g., network tokens, routing, transaction optimization).
• Hands-on backend engineering experience with Java, Golang, Kotlin, or similar; strong understanding of microservices, event-driven architectures, APIs, and integration patterns.
• English: advanced proficiency required
