What you will do

• Develop and maintain internal payment services and scalable backend infrastructure.
• Implement new features and support existing functionality for critical user paths.
• Integrate multiple payment providers and optimize the product's payment ecosystem.
• Collaborate with the team to reduce legacy code and maintain a modern tech stack.
• Apply Domain-Driven Design (DDD) within a modular monolith architecture.

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend development experience and 2+ years of PHP experience.
• Proficiency with PHP 8.3+, Laravel 11+, and MariaDB.
• Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL), caches, and queues (Redis).
• Strong skills in writing unit tests and working with Docker.
• Knowledge of Software Development and Architectural patterns.
• English: B1+ level required.

Nice to have

• Awareness of DDD, TDD, and experience with modular/service-oriented applications.
• Experience with RoadRunner, Kubernetes, or AWS.
• Background in financial systems, risk analytics, or authentication systems.
• Practical use of AI tools.
• Experience with other modern languages such as TypeScript, Python, or Go.
