What you will do

• Prepare starch and vegetable items for dinner menus according to recipes and portion controls.
• Assist the First Cook with menu preparation, production strategy, and breakfast service.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and serving areas following food handling guidelines.
• Replenish dessert and condiment stations as needed.
• Assist with baking tasks as required by the culinary team.

Requirements

• Must be able to commit to a 2-week on/1-week off rotational schedule.
• Must successfully pass a criminal record check and pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
• Must possess valid government-issued photo ID for travel to site.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
• Experience in large-scale cooking in camp settings, banquet halls, or hotels is a strong asset.
• Current Food Safe certification is preferred.
