Senior Project Manager (Workplace Technology)

Location: Munich, Germany; international travel required at approximately 35%

What you will do

• Lead IT, audiovisual, and smart workplace technology delivery from design through implementation and handover for office build-outs, relocations, upgrades, and assigned workstreams.
• Build and manage integrated scope, schedule, cost, milestone, quality, risk, dependency, and change-control plans.
• Coordinate workplace technology requirements with architecture, MEP, lighting, furniture, acoustic, interior, and construction disciplines using structured design stages such as RIBA.
• Guide local teams in selecting solutions from the global technology stack and translate technical requirements into user-centric outcomes.
• Manage relationships with local offices, IT, Real Estate, product teams, vendors, and senior stakeholders, providing updates, decision support, escalation, and alignment with global standards.
• Define vendor deliverables, review outputs, track performance, support budget forecasting, capture lessons learned, and improve playbooks, standards, templates, and delivery methods.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience leading IT, AV, or smart workplace technology projects and/or technology delivery in office build or relocation contexts.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex project workstreams, vendors, timelines, budgets, and cross-functional dependencies.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including presenting options, trade-offs, and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of AV, IT networks, access control, workplace tools and analytics, and integration concepts; ideally including security and building systems.
• Experience coordinating across multiple design disciplines within structured design frameworks such as RIBA.
• Ability to manage risks, dependencies, change control, delivery governance, ambiguity, and escalation independently.
• Strong communication, influencing, ownership, self-management, and vendor-management skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• English is required.
• Willingness to travel internationally approximately 35%.

Nice to have

• Project management certification such as PMP or PRINCE2.
• Global project exposure.
