What you will do

• Execute the migration of legacy ETL and microservices to AWS, refactoring monolithic code into containerized services.
• Develop end-to-end data flows using AWS Glue, EMR, and Snowflake with Lakehouse patterns.
• Build and maintain production-grade Terraform or AWS CDK modules for infrastructure provisioning.
• Implement observability using Amazon CloudWatch and OpenTelemetry to ensure system reliability.
• Optimize Spark job configurations and ECS auto-scaling policies for performance.
• Lead peer code reviews and enforce standards for security and maintainability.

Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering and Cloud Infrastructure.
• Deep technical expertise in Amazon ECS (Fargate/EC2) and container security.
• Expert-level proficiency in Java, Python, and SQL.
• Proven experience with Snowflake and modern data lakehouse architectures.
• Hands-on experience with Spark, Kafka, and orchestration tools like Airflow or dbt.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
