What you will do

• Define and execute strategic technical architecture for highly critical company-wide data infrastructure.
• Lead the design and development of tools and infrastructure to scale hirify.global's data capabilities.
• Build large-scale data pipelines and data products to serve internal customers across various organizations.
• Act as a subject matter expert for data platforms, tools, and internal data sets to enable stakeholders.
• Develop services using Go, Python, and TypeScript across a stack including Kubernetes, Trino, Iceberg, Clickhouse, and PostgreSQL.
• Mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of accountability and exceptional delivery.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on scaling data infrastructure.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional technical initiatives and driving value delivery.
• Extensive experience with Trino, Spark, Iceberg/Delta Lake, Kafka, Clickhouse, or PostgreSQL.
• Expertise in designing, building, and debugging large-scale data pipelines.
• Proficiency in backend languages (Go, Python, TypeScript, Rust) and SQL.
• Experience with agentic development workflows and an AI-first mentality.

Nice to have

• Experience with data orchestration platforms such as Airflow and DBT.
• Experience deploying and managing infrastructure in Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of data governance, privacy, auditability, and MLOps.
